I drive an hour to see Dr. Jay Rutledge. He is an exceptional vet. Takes the time to listen and answer any questions you have. I wouldn’t take my baby girl to anyone else. He also has a wonderful friendly staff.
Very knowledgeable and concerned staff. Dr. Rutledge is always helpful and offers alternative treatments and is easy to work with. Enjoys his profession, and it shows. Always a pleasure to see them.
Probably some of the most kind-hearted, passionate people I’ve ever met. Dr. Rutledge takes the time to explain in detail what is going on and ensures that it’s understood. The techs are always a pleasure and immediately make our pets feel at ease. I’m so glad that we found a vet that we trust and respect!!

The staff is welcoming and immediately put my pup Enzo at ease. They explained everything before and answered all my questions after. They are the best vet in town!! They let me know about preventative meds for my dog moving forward and great healthy snack alternatives, which I didn’t know!! I’m so lucky to have them be his vets!! Highly recommend if you want to be treated as a VIP!
Lake Park is a wonderful vet clinic. Dr. Jay and the staff there are excellent and so extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them! They take great care of fur babies!!!
